Falafel Burgers

These delicious veggie falafel burgers are simple to make using the food processor. By using dedicated gluten-free oats, this recipe becomes gluten-free. The original recipe calls for sautéing using a non-stick spray, however I chose to pan-fry 4 patties at a time in one tablespoon of olive oil. The patties hold together beautifully! If you wish to skip the bun, no problem, they are wonderful with the tahini sauce or ketchup. They go well with quinoa tabouli. For those who want to know, one patty cooked in oil provides approximately 160 calories (8 patties per recipe).
